2023 Surf Challenge Reno — Hosting the Best of the Best —

Event Overview:

Welcome to the 2023 Surf Challenge Reno! This event provides a high-level competitive Tournament that aims to attract, showcase and compete against the “Best of the Best” in Northern Nevada. The Surf Challenge Cup takes place June 3 - 4, 2023 and has a 3 game guarantee. A tournament for both girls and boys teams, U8 through U19. Take advantage of flexible scheduling and all turf fields. Face off against the area’s best youth soccer players!

  • Age Groups: Boys & Girls 2016-2004/05 (U8-U19)
  • Entry Fee: $695 (7v7) – $795 (9v9) – $895 (11v11)
  • Early Bird Discount: $595 (7v7) – $695 (9v9) – $795 (11v11) – Early bird ends April 10, 2023
  • Application Deadline: May 10, 2023
  • Event Dates: June 3 - 4, 2023
  • There will be a 3-game guarantee with finals on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
  • 2016 to 2014 Birth Years will play 7v7
  • 2013 & 2012 Birth Years will play 9v9
  • 2011 to 2005 Birth Years will play 11v11
  • Each team is Guaranteed 3 Games.
  • Tents and Benches will be provided for each team.
  • All Games are played in Reno, Nevada, and surrounding cities.
  • Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. (Championship Matches)
  • Trophy for 1st place teams. (Championship Matches)
  • No-hassle Online tournament check-in prior to the tournament start.
  • Extremely responsive to teams scheduling needs based on travel distance and coaching conflicts.

This is a Class I Tournament open to USYS, US Club Soccer, USSSA, and FIFA-affiliated teams.
This event is sanctioned by US Club Soccer and ALL players must have 2022/2023 or 2023/2024 player cards to participate.
Teams will be notified of their acceptance for the event by May 12, 2023.

Refund Policy:

Accepted teams that request to drop from the tournament prior to the May 10, 2023 application deadline will be entitled to a full refund less a $100 administration fee and less the credit card processing fee.

Any accepted team is not entitled to a refund for any reason after the May 10, 2023 application deadline.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance; Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a governmental order cancels the event or prevents your team from traveling to the event, you will receive a full refund minus any credit card processing transaction fee.
